When Heather, a native of mid-coast Maine, moved to Tahoe over 18 years ago, she knew instantly that she’d call South Lake Tahoe “home”. Throughout her youth and young adulthood, Heather danced with many prestigious dance companies throughout the New England area, which certainly influenced her passion for teaching group fitness. Heather holds many fitness certifications including: Pilates Reformer, Spin, TRX, Body Pump, Piloxing, and Zumba, as well as being an ACE certified Personal Trainer. In the Pilates studio, Heather seeks to teach classes that are precise and challenging, yet empower the class to find the joy in movement. In the cycling room, Heather takes the importance of the music to motivate riders for a heart-pumping ride. Heather has a degree in Linguistics and Deaf Studies from the University of Southern Maine and is very involved in the Special Needs community. Outside of the gym, you can find her adventuring with her husband, Tory, and her 2 dogs, Aspen and Anchor.
